Remember the themes of Colossians:

1. Jesus Alone is the answer
2. Hope is heavenly, it bears fruit earthly
3. False teaching is everywhere

In this week's verses we learn that we are meant to find our identity in Christ. It was Christ ALONE that made you alive, canceled your debt, and triumphed over rulers and authorities

What are the implications of this truth?

• Jesus is the answer, not asceticism
