We take a break from our study of Colossians as we hear a message from Pastor Josh Montague. He is a missionary with Training Leaders International.

In this Scripture, the apostle Paul is instructing his apprentice pastor, young Timothy, about doing ministry. The tasks of ministry, in verses 2-7, might become a duty or even lead to burnout. So Paul gives Timothy and his readers the means to persevere in ministry: be strengthened by grace (verse 1) and remember Jesus (verse 8).
