Pastor Nick begins a series on the parables of Jesus. As we hear these lessons, we need to remember these things about parables:

1. A parable is a story designed to demonstrate truth
2. We must always consider the audience
3. Parables denounce universalism

The parable of The Sower teaches us that just because you’re here, doesn’t mean you hear. We learn what it means to hear and not understand. How DO we take care how we listen?
